Overwhelmingly proud, we would like to introduce you to Keyboard Rebel from Manchester, England and their album Pop Grenade. The title speaks for itself. It is our third release, but the bands debut-album. Released under a creative commons-license, you can listen to the album on our homepage and download it for free.

If you like the music and think about doing something nice, you may donate some money to the band, which means that you solely donate for Amnesty International, because the band decided to give all the income it earns through performing and recording their music to the aid organisation. In our opinion this is another just fantastic and worthwhile motive to play music. Furthermore you should keep in mind that Keyboard Rebel offer their music in form of a lovely digipak compact disc as well. You can buy the CD for only 5 pounds, that also go directly to Amnesty.

Entertainment For The Braindead - Maybe

Zwischen Abschlussprüfungen, Klausuren und sonstigen Verpflichtungen wird sich die aaahh-records Crew im Februar 2009 ein paar Tage frei nehmen und mit Julia (Entertainment For The Braindead) durch Deutschland reisen. Dabei wird munter musiziert, erzählt, hoffentlich nette Bekanntschaften mit netten Leuten gemacht und natürlich viel gefeiert.

Wir haben uns folgende Route ausgedacht, die, wie man sehen kann, noch einige Ungereimtheiten aufweist. Wir fangen jetzt an geeignete Lokalitäten in den folgenden Städten zu folgenden Daten anzufragen. Wenn man so ein kleines Abenteuer versucht zu planen, dann kann man leider nicht allzu spontan sein und muss relativ weit im Voraus planen. Deshalb wird sich an der Abfolge und den Orten auch kaum was ändern. (Es sei denn es kommt eine extrem charmante Einladung!)

On November 13th we will release a new album. This time we go for pop. A grenade full of pop from Manchester, England.

Keyboard Rebel got their own Label Slick Nine Records over in Manchester and they released their debut album “Pop Grenade” just a month ago. On October 13th, to be precise. So we thought that it would be a good choice to follow up with a digital re-release of their fabulous debut just a month later. So we got in touch with them, fell in love with them and here we go… a new release is coming up!

Keyboard Rebel go for a BY-NC licence, which means that you can do pretty much everything you want with their album as long as you don’t make any money with it.

And again, you will have the possibility to purchase a physical copy of the album, which is good in several ways. Not just because it’s a great album, that sounds, looks and feels great, but also because ALL THE MONEY you pay or donate for the album GOES TO AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL, directly.

So, listen to their album, download it, share it and if you like it, buy it and help people.

All you have to do now is to wait until thursday!
